Devils Elbow is an alt. country punk rock band formed in Napier in 2007. The band released their first EP and single KO in 2010 and their debut album Sand On Chrome in the same year, which received favorable reviews from national media.

November 2012 sees the return of Devils Elbow with their first new recorded material since Sand On Chrome. Broken Record Syndrome is an 8-track EP, containing a mix of new and not so new material including two instrumental tracks. The title track serves as the first single release from the bands forthcoming second album Absolute Domain, which is currently being completed and is due for release in 2013.
