Enter 2012 in true rock n roll style at New Zealand’s first ever heavy metal & rock New Year’s Festival. For the first time in New Zealand’s rich musical history, some of the best local, national and international rock & metal acts will come together to celebrate New Year 2012 at New Zealand’s newest and heaviest festival – Beyond the Black.

On Saturday 31st December 2011 through until New Years Day 2012, rock & metal fans alike are to unite at Trentham Racecourse, Upper Hutt, Wellington to rock into 2012, with the aid of 1 stage, 16 bands and 14 hours of solid rock & metal.

Head Like A Hole, Shotgun Alley, In Dread Response, Sinate, Devilskin, Decortica, Indicator Dogs, Subtract, Whole Lotta Led, Sonic Altar, Tainted, Depths, Advocates, Bulletbelt, Of Blackest Oceans and Draco Aerius.

Tickets can be purchased from Medusa (Wellington), Mango Music (Wellington), Music Machine (Napier), Music Works (New Plymouth) and http://www.1-night.co.nz/. Booking fees will apply.
Price: $40 first drop presales, $50 final drop presales and $10 camping pass.

VIP Tickets cost $150 and include a GA ticket, camping, 3 meals onsite, 6 complimentary drinks and exclusive access to the VIP lounge  where you get to meet the bands and chillout. VIP Tickets are only available online.
