On Saturday May 12, join Static Era, Fire at Will, Doppler and Beautiful Collision for a night of madness, mayhem and rock and roll!!
Static Era is fronted by energetic rock chick Emma G, and backed by a solid three-piece band featuring the heavy melody-led guitar of Chris Yong (Tadpole/Redline) and the solid rhythm pairing of Craig Taylor (Second Theory) on bass and Dave Rhodes (Stylus) on drums.
With their single "So Sore" currently playing on The Rock, May 12 will be the unleashing of the "So Sore" music video, as well as "The Start" EP release - make sure you get your copy and rock out with Static Era!
Fire At Will formed in late 2010 by members of Auckland band My Asylum and South African Rock Icons The Narrow and Not My Dog. They are currently having great success with their debut single ‘Can't Wait’ which made the top 10 on The Rock FM’s top 30 chart (and stayed in the top 30 for 11 weeks), and their first NZ on Air music video for the single has been added to rotation on Juice TV, C4 and MK TV in South Africa.
Formed in 2005, the hard rock act Doppler has steadily been gaining momentum. Since it’s birth in Canterbury NZ, Doppler has released an E.P and a single Oblivion and now bases itself in Auckland. The 4-piece outfit is comprised of Adam Wilson, Ben Healey, JB and Sam Edgar. Whilst getting through some heavy gigging around New Zealand, Doppler plan to release another single in 2012 and have plans to record a debut album in 2013.
Dishing up their brand of deliciously edgy, pop-infused rock, Beautiful Collision are all about songs that come from a place at the centre of who they are - the heart. Their songs challenge the perception of the way things are and how they could be. Listen to their songs or catch their energy-fueled live performance, and you'll be heading for a collision of a beautiful kind.
Entry is just $10! So gather your mates, your best friends mum and let's get the ROCK into it!
