Wellington duo Pearl has notched up a host of impressive live performances since forming in 2003. Recent supports for Elton John and Eric Clapton performing to over over 60,000 people has enabled the band to show New Zealand what they’re made of – and its all good.
Pearl’s brand of optimistic adult pop is proving popular with the masses. Their energetic live performances display their undeniable musical passion, and Pearl’s ability to have fun with their audience proves they know they are in the business of entertainment. Add to that a repertoire of hooky songs from a critically acclaimed debut album and Pearl is hard to beat.
Pearl's debut album 'No Ordinary Day' was released nationwide in August 2006 through Jayrem Records, receiving positive reviews throughout New Zealand. The first three singles from the album - 'Fallacy', 'All I Need' and 'Fall At Your Feet' - all featured on NZ On Air Kiwi Hit Discs.
