New Zealand Music Video Awards

Radio Active's 'Handle The Jandal' is fast becoming an institution for New Zealand music video making. Entries are open nationwide to anyone with a video for a song by a New Zealand musician or band of any musical genre. The catch - no government funding allowed!

The videos entered are made only with available resources, kiwi ingenuity and the old sniff of an oily rag! The results of this are truly astounding - this event never fails to entertain, inspire and help New Zealand filmmakers and musicians on their road to creative success.

The panel of cine-muso-phile industry seasoned judges decide the winners of the following specialised awards:

- Best Handle The Jandal Concept
- Best Handle The Jandal Animation
- Best Handle The Jandal Cinematography
- Best Handle The Jandal Editing
- Best Shameless Use of Exploitative Tactics to promote band
- Best Handle The Jandal Rising Star
