NZ music experts, please help

Hello,
I heard a song in the airplane coming home from New Zealand.. I missed who it was, but heard 'former members of the mutton birds'. Also, I wrote 'just a feeling' as it was repeated in the song.
Please help, its been bugging me for 8 months now.

Hey. While you are calling on all experts I have listened to a song on MTV recently by a nz artist. It is shot at a skate bowl and the artist is wearing a cap and has neck tattoos. I am unsure on the artist or title but has anyone seen it?
