HOLY FUCKEN HELL!!!!! jus got home from big day out, my fucken god. Some rad shit happening there, gotta say....my chemical romance were BY FAR the best band, they put on the raddest set. Blindspott shocked me, they we're fucken sik...rocked that stage 100% man, was kool. Also not to mention those fucken screams from that blindspott vocalist, hella good. TRIVIUM!!! highlight of the day....but their guitars cutting out? wtf? still rocked it, the killers were rad...had some sweet crowd sing alongs. TOOL...opening with "stinkfist" ended the night perfectly. Over all, WELL WORTH $135.

How'd you mo fos who went enjoy it?

I stayed mostly at the back for the whole day in the Lion Red area chillin with mates. Was rad.

Highlights were Tool and Sinate, and I was impressed by Muse and The Killers' performances.

i was by the beer area for the killers, they were pretty good. Could barely hear the vocalist tho, their farfield speakers needed to be panned and the centre speakers needed to be delayed more, otherwise was good

Yeah they need to work on the sound more.

If you're about half-way back the band gets drowned out by people singing along. Noticed a few sound glitches, vocals were quite low in the mix all day in general.

It was a great day though. I can't wait to see Tool properly in a more intimate setting.

im not a very big tool fan, only like the occasionaly song....but going by their set at BDO and live videos i've seen...do they always play with a dark set? Like the whole dark green and blue lights?

Trivium were my favourite.... Blindspott second. I really enjoyed The Have and Jet as well (even though I was falling asleep at that part of the day - from tiredness not boredom, probably not a good idea to go out the night before).

I was impressed with everyone overall, even My Chemical Romance. I'd heard they weren't very good live, but I thought they did a good job - Gerard (vocalist) is definately a performer.

I also noticed a lot of sound problems... so I hope they work on that... would have been frustrating for the bands since they couldn't do anything about it but would be criticised for it anyway. Trivium for example though handled the guitar problem like professionals though and got through it.

Muse are also worth a mention - I was right on the other side of the stadium bit for their set, but it looked and sounded wicked from there. Matt (vocalist) especially was really getting into it.

Did anyone manage to see Lily Allen? I tried to get into the boiler room to see her, but it was absolutely packed! Managed to hear a couple of songs and get a few glimpses, but ended up giving up.

Also Lupe Fiasco and The Streets - what were they like? I would have liked to see them, but there were other people playing at the same time that I wanted to see more...

Anyway, it was a great day. I don't have any other BDO's to compare it to, but regardless of how it compares I loved it. And I didn't even have to use a portaloo once! Woo!

good performance, but the sound for them and jet was fucking shit, I think it wasn't loud enough which made it hard to hear them sing.


Muse were fucking awesome. Enough said.

Hot chip and peaches were fucking cool too!
