The all kiwi entertainment phenomenon, When the Cat's Away, are Annie Crummer, Debbie Harwood, Kim Willoughby and Margaret Urlich.
Formed in 1986, the group was awarded Listener Film and Television Awards for 'Entertainers of the Year' and 'Documentary of the Year' in 1988 and also took out the coveted 'Group of the Year' award at the NZ Music Awards in 1989.
When The Cat's Away first debuted in the Official New Zealand Top 40 Singles on 16 September 2001 with the song Asian Paradise. There are two entries by When The Cat's Away in the charts.
