Auckland-based Tongan Soane has been on a roll for some time now, thanks mainly to his hookup - via party promoters Lightspeed - with Manchester and Blackpool based labels Paper Recordings and Shaboom.

Soane was born in the village of Vava'u, located in the northern islands of Tonga. Growing up, music was a big part of his life, so to further this a move to Auckland was taken.

Soane first debuted in the Official New Zealand Top 40 Albums on 29 February 2004 with the album Tonganchic. There is one entry by Soane in the charts.
