Band & Musician News - nomad - 'All Of My Heart'

nomad - 'All Of My Heart'

19 January 2018 - 0 Comments

The lush vocal layers, heady harmonies and infectious, indie-pop hooks of Christchurch’s nomad are winning over unsuspecting audiences, show by show. The 19 year olds' made their mark on the NZ charts with the undeniably catchy single Oh My My (gold sales, 34 weeks in the airplay charts and a nomination for Best Newcomers at the Music Awards).

They have 4m streams on Spotify as they head into their next single All of My Heart (Jan 19). A set at Rhythm and Vines and a return to this year’s Homegrown lead into their own tour for the release of their debut album (April 6), Produced by Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins/Popstrangers).

nomad spent the last two years writing and road-testing songs, and have opened for The Vamps, Hanson, Marlon Williams, Fly My Pretties and Dave Dobbyn.

Aasha Mallard, Will McGillivray and Cullen Kiesanowski formed nomad at school four years ago and their very different musical tastes collide to shape their alt-pop sound.
