Band & Musician News - Megan Sidwell new single 'Never Saw It Coming'

Megan Sidwell new single 'Never Saw It Coming'

06 March 2015 - 0 Comments

Melbourne based kiwi country rocker Megan Sidwell is pleased to release her brand new single Never Saw It Coming - out today.

Never Saw It Coming is a punchy infectious pop/rock track with a dramatic edge, unique to Sidwell's trademark sound. Thanks to a PledgeMe crowd-funding campaign, the single was recorded at Roundhead Studios with producer, Ben King (Grand Rapids, Goldenhorse) who also mixed and mastered the track.

Her musical identity has been informed by the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Pat Benatar, Hayley Williams and Dave Grohl, while the gentler side of her craft pays homage to pop sensations, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

Sidwell's 2013 debut EP release Forever On A Sunday cemented her reputation as an accomplished singer/songwriter and one to watch. She also won the Female Musicianship award twice running in the Tauranga 2007 and 2008 regional RockQuest heats.

Never Saw It Coming is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp and Soundcloud
