Cinematic
Bio
Cinematic formed in the ashes of popular Christchurch band Throw in 1994. The bands first album was recorded in Christchurch, and released by the indie Wellington label Beats Bodega.
Despite bassist James Guthrie moving to Wellington in 1997, the band continued to gig and recorded another album in 1998. James Guthrie now runs the New Zealand music site Noizyland and has also performed with Debris.
