Partisan Line

Bio

Formed in late 2004, Antony Waters, Beni Shanks and Campbell Smith are the three man team known as Partisan Line. The combination of Antony's rumbling driving bass lines, Ben's attacking yet musical guitars and Campbell's hard riff driven beats makes for a diverse and intelligent approach to the often standardised rock genre.

Not concerned with the current hype, these three strike you immediately as artists committed to their music, producing a sound that is truly their own. Partisan Line have a history dating back over 10 years, over which time the mutual friends have been involved in various musical incarnations such as Ado, The Neverends, Cartel and Los Muertos before forming the band. After a year crafting their sound in the studio, 2006 sees the Partisan Line truly getting underway with their first release, recorded at Kog Transmissions in late March with David Holmes.

Despite limited exposure the band has amassed a following beyond the norm for debut artists through their live gigs and network of fellow friends and musicians, and have received pre-release airplay on bFM.
