One Six

Bio

OneSix are an 7-piece roots reggae band from Christchurch City.

Three vocalists, from three different musical backgrounds, with three distinct sounds make up the vocal section of OneSix. With a drum kit, a bass rig, keyboard, two guitars, three mics, a class of musicians and a repertoire of stories to tell to support their harmonies, OneSix have all the ingredients to provide quality entertainment on and off stage.

The material that OneSix perform are a collection of tracks that have been written and produced over the last five years, inspired by stories either experienced, seen or foreseen.

Even though the tracks are aged, the band was formed in October 2012, as One Six says "it just feels like it's the right time to finally share these stories, to finally bring these tracks to life".

One Six are expected to make their debut to stage early 2013 and are looking to release their music to Aotearoa through the summer via Social Media (Youtube and Facebook) and live performances.
