Technically Abundance started as a singer with a backing band. The band formed for a talent quest then got through to the nationals which saw them roadtripping welly-ward complete with aviators.
Just after their gig there (their second proper gig ever) the singer decided a solo career wasn't anywhere near as fun as being in a band and so Abundance officially became a band.
One year later, they are still going hard, gigging and doing competitions. They are currently working on an EP for a release later in the year (2008).
