The Mercy Cage

Bio

Tauranga based Electro-Darkwave band, formed in mid-1999, Mercy Cage is a melding of old-school Electro, Industrial & Darkwave influences.

Their debut CD 'Wire' was released via Numb/Benign in November '99. The 2nd album 'Rust: A Fiction & associated remix singles' was released by Mediatrix in October 2001. The Special Edition boxed set 'Rust: Dokument' came out in November 2002.

I can't recommend this band enough for fans of dark-wave|danse|elektronika.

They also played 3 very successful live shows at the end of last year.
