Bio

Featuring ex-members from Floorpie and Witness and formed at the close of 1999 with a straightforward motivation - Pedal Faster were pissed off with "the shitty harmonies and stupidity of the pop-punk genre". Pedal Faster was the reaction - an assault of up-beat, straight up hardcore laced with heavy breakdowns, emotional screams and just enough melody to keep it interesting. They describe themselvesas playing "a chaotic medley of melodic metallicore".

The band have quickly established themselves as one of the hardest-working bands in the Wellington scene, with a high work rate since their live debut in June 2000.
