Dioxin started out as the Dole Patrol on the 25th of April 2004, not having any past musical knowledge, background or talent. They picked it all up pretty quick but there was a bit of conflict in the band. They broke up and reformed as Dioxin minus one member.
Dioxin have just recorded their debut CD and it is due for release on Rebel High Records. They have played a few gigs around Dunedin (mainly in the Crown Hotel) and all of the bands they have played with have been real good sports. Keep it up Dunedin!!
Dioxin have also performed with Not Quite Right in the Weston Hall (inland from Oamaru) for a 21st.
