91 Battalion is a Christian punk band that combines Christian lyrics and themes with old school punk. Formed as a way for the band to share their faith, and disspell a few common misconceptions about what it means to be a Christian, 91 Battalion have a high energy aggresive sound not commonly heard in the Christian music scene.
The bands name comes from psalm 91 and also refers to the army of God, which explains the fact the band wear a lot of cammo gear on stage.
91 Battalion continue to suprise first timers at their gigs with the power and grutiness of their live sound. The most common comment heard at a 91 Battalion gig is "Man, I didnt know Christian music could sound like THAT!!!!!"
