Dryden formed in 1998 in Hamilton, with Raj Aralambulam on keyboard, Steven Czerwonka on drums, Chris Murray on saxophone and Daniel Brenndorfer on guitar. Dryden practiced for 3 long hard years before they finally exploded onto the scene in 2002.
The first line-up didn't last long though and it quickly changed to Raj on drums, Steve on bass and Dan on guitars and vocals. Chris went on to become the manager of 4petesake.
Dryden's first show was on the Atomic Stage at the Parachute Festival, and have since been playing at hardcore/punk shows and festivals, including the Hamtown Smackdown in 2002. It was shortly after this performance that Raj left, and Mark's brother Daniel came on board.
Mark also now performs with This Night Creeps.
