Lydia Cole is a 21-year-old songwriter from the North Shore of Auckland. She writes alone. Lydia's lyrics are born purely of experience. She sees herself and her music as advocates for honesty.
Lydia Cole recently received a NZ on Air 'New Recording Artist' grant and this has set her on her way towards great things. So with the next 12 months holding for her a funded radio single and music video, Lydia also plans to play Rhythm & Vines (GISBORNE) in December, then Parachute (HAMILTON), Hamilton Garden Summer Festival (HAMILTON) and Easterfest (QLD) in early 09.
All the while, she continues to refine her song writing and plays live at every opportunity.
