Formed out of the ashes of punk band Blue On Blue, Undermingus took Levin and Palmerston North by storm in 2004 and 2005.
However, in early 2005, lead singer Matt Burton moved away to pursue a different career leaving the remaining 3 members scrambling to find a singer before the RockQuest. In the end they decided they didnt care, and just ended up singing themselves.
Towards the end of 2005, they started recording 'The Iconoclast EP', which hopefully should be out at some stage in 2006. The lead vocalist from Cathedra also lent vocals to one of the songs on the EP.
Currently Undermingus is on hiatus, as Nick has moved to Christchurch and Adrian to Wellington.
