Bio

Coolade was formed out of the ashes of Christchurch rock bands Hype and The Blow Charlie who were both acclaimed live acts in their own right. After each band split, Joe and Adam joined songwriting forces and Neil's switch from bass in Hype to drums in Coolade provided a strong back-bone for Coolade's hard edge yet melodic sound. After a bunch of gigs around town, the band called it quits due to musical differences and lack of enthusiasm.
