Ermehn began rapping at school and has been developing his art for thirteen years. He was Radio Backstab in the late 80s and was an original member of OMC. Radio Backstab & DJ Payback released the track 'Based On A Lost Cause' on the 'Proud' compilation. The singles 'Walls Of Steel', 'Don't Be Late' and 'Stranded In The City' were released by Ermehn in the late 1990s and were included on his 1998 debut album 'Samoans Part II'.
Ermehn's music is real life Hip Hop. His songs portray harsh realities and he is not afraid of controversy. He addresses issues that others may avoid.
In 2001 he was one of the team responsible for bringing the Boo Yaa Tribe to New Zealand. This led to Ermehn collaborating with them on a song.
Ermehn is working with a number of artists on his new project such as Deceptikonz, Khas, Sheelahroc, Lost Tribe, Cydel and Sulata.
