Bio

Nimbus has been around since mid 2001. Originally it formed as an experimental band with 2 guitarists and drums. In October 2002 they added a keyboardist to provide bass lines for live performances in place of previously sequenced electronic synthesisers and samplers. The current members have all previously played together in a Rotorua band called Leash.

They play a mix of what could be described as smooth dark rock, instrumental and alternative rock music.

Since winning the Band Experiments 2002 they have been constantly gigging around the Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua regions.
