Cuba and Gizmo, aka Dean (Cuba) Godward and Isaac (Gizmo) Tucker, are committed to pushing the boundaries of drum and bass music. Not content to follow the lead of others, Cuba and Gizmo aim to be drum and bass innovators, blending other musicial forms such as trance and hip hop with world music, electronic samples, driving beats and subterranean bass to create their own unique soundscapes. Their track 'Kapisi Madness' recently held pole position on alternative radio for 10 weeks on Auckland's 95bFM, smashing the 30 year record.

The group also successfully takes electronic music into the live performance arena incorporating electonic drum kits, percussion, samples and synths with guest appearances of MCs, log drummers and other surprises. They also incorporate local videography.
