Band members of TrinityRoots also perform in Fat Freddy's Drop and The Bad Apple Orchestra.

TrinityRoots were formed in 1998. The release of their Creative NZ funded debut EP in October 2000 was a long awaited realisation for the band. It sold over 3000 copies and was released independently by the band.

TrintyRoots have performed alongside Ben Harper, Lee Scratch Perry, The Mad Professor, King Kapisi, Che Fu & Salmonella Dub.

The TrinityRoots disbanded in 2005 after their final performance at Soundsplash.
