Resistant were formed from the ashes of Mosskeytow at the start of 2000 in Wellington.
Resistant initially begain with the aim to play pop-punk, but have found themselves playing a melodic brand of hardcore with a unique, catchy harsh sound. They were Brubeck's first choice to suppor them on a tour of Wellington.
To date, the only recording Resistant have done is a three-song live-to-DAT demo with Peter Jamieson at Wellington's Original Music Workship called 'Third Time Lucky'.
