Bio

Earmuff have been together since mid-2001. Their influences include Guttermouth, Blink 182, Millencolin, The Line and NOFX.

Hardcore, society-driven with a touch of metal. Earmuff are none of these, just a five-piece punk band from the Hawkes Bay with fast and thrashy guitar riffs, up-tempo drumming, ear-friendly harmonies and a reluctant splash of emo thrown in for good measure.

Earmuff have had their share of ups and downs, with the mysterious recurring demise of the bands PA driving the band to fight - with the exception of Nathan who just sat there in his own world teaching himself how to play bass. But the band's resolve was fortified by vocalist Shaun and his "connections" to a recording studio that resulted in the band's debut self-release, 'The Blyth' EP, named after the orchard where the band practiced.

Shaun Streeter (vocals)
