Proximity

Bio

Proximity is a Howick College high school trio which was formed by friends in 2018.
With vocals by Sophia and guitar shared by Liam and Cailin, Proximity brings a mix of hard rock music as their main attraction, which is rooted from their inspiration of Metallica, Linkin Park and Disturbed.

Who is Proximity?

Liam Clark - Songwriter and rhythm guitarist for Proximity. Liam is influenced by hard rock and metal music and lyrical writing style from Linkin Park and Twenty One Pilots.

Sofia Scales - Vocalist for Proximity. With a voice for soft or heavy music, Sofia is also a pianist and bassist. She is influenced by piano music and a mix of heavy music.

Cailin Verhoeff - Lead guitarist for Proximity. Cailin is heavily influenced by hard rock bands from the pre 2000's.

With two tracks Odyssey and Picnic at Midnight already receiving a rave review here, Proximity have proven that they have bright future ahead of them.
