Gourd are influenced by Pantera, Slipknot, Slayer, Drowning Pool and Mudvayne.
Gourd have entered two competitions, one of which they came first, and they have also played at 'A Day At The Beach' with Attica and Clockwork.
They have also played some gigs at Temple Bar.
