Dr Kevorkian & the Suicide Machine began life as Jordan Reyne: the name of thier key writer and frontperson. Various other incarnations involving the same group of writers have had names such as Bloodflower and Dr Death.
Dr Kevorkian & the Suicide Machine now exist as a songwriting and recording entity whose main focus is creation in the studio. Dr Kevs' latest album 'The Ironman' was released in May 2000 through Universal Music & DDV Laboratories.
Jordan Reyne has been producing darkly emotive music for nearly 10 years. She has recorded 4 albums under her own name and as Dr Kevorkian and the Suicide Machine as well as contributing guest vocals to such notables as Baitercell & Schumacher, Strawpeople and Rob Salmon.
Live with Andrew Lyon (NUTE, Creassault) on keyboards and Nick Clarke on drums they produce a dense, textured sound beneath Jordans powerful vocal presence.
