Exploding out from the small, scene of Whakatane New Zealand, Fall of the Sun are a relentlessly heavy and energetic 5 piece band who despite their recent entry into the metal scene, have played alongside many popular national and international metal acts. The highly acclaimed act have proven themselves in the metal community as a force to be reckoned with and will not stop at that.

Young, but talented, three founding members met at high school and began writing songs together under the name For Tomorrow You Suffer. They picked up a following throughout their high school years. In august 2014, things started to become more serious. Guitarist Blake Cheesman and Bassist Liam Griffiths joined, bringing a fresh new influence and drive to the band thus creating the 5 piece’s current line up and bringing an increasing amount of shows under their belt.

2015 proved to be a big year for the young and passionate act with the band debuting their name change in July and performing as many dates around New Zealand as possible. Come November, an unexpected departure of vocalist Joshua Sims left Fall of the Sun wary of the continuation of the band. Following the welcoming of Batz on bass guitar into the lineup, the band's spark was re-ignited and the void behind the mic stand was filled by our very own Liam Griffiths.

The future seems bright again for the highly acclaimed act, with an ever growing hometown scene as well as a national scene, the bands high energy, brutally heavy, live show that these boys deliver flawlessly will not slow down any time soon.
