Bio

Nava Thomas aka Confucius is one of the rarities in the electronica genre - a DJ and an accomplished musician.

Confucius is also known as Funkamental and Soul Providah. He is also a member of local Christchurch funk band P-Bass Expressway.

A visit to his bedroom studio reveals all sorts of gadgetry, both electronic and traditional. No doubt Nava will be adding new layers to already polished tracks, remixing old tunes, practising the flute or making fantastic dub tracks. Either way, the world of music rotates the inner conscious of Confucius like no other.

Confucius' two albums 'In The Seventh House' and 'New Sound Landscapes' have both received critical acclaim.
