
Julien Dyne is a multi talented drummer, producer, DJ and visual artist.
Best known for his work at home with Opensouls, he has been making waves off shore with his solo output signing to BBE Records worldwide and Wonderful Noise in Japan.
Julien also performs as a drummer with Ladi6 and has recorded with Fat Freddy's Drop and a whole host of other local artists.
He attended the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy in Rome in 2004 and was invited back to work with the Mizell Brothers (Donald Byrd), Theo Parrish, Steve Spacek (Africa Hitech), Mark Pritchard (Harmonic 313/Africa Hitech), Om'mas Keith (SA-RA), Andreya Triana and others as part of the "a class of its own" recording sessions in cologne in 2007.
Julien's debut solo recording was the EP Phantom Limbo but it was with first full length album Pins And Digits where he received air time and high praise from taste maker DJ's Gilles Peterson and Benji B, featuring on their respective top 100 lists of 2009.
His second full length album Glimpse was released in Feb 2012.
