Bury Me At Sea was started when the vocalist from a high school cover band, She Is The Unpretty, and the vocalist from hardcore band, Every Man For Himself decided over a few beers to start a new band.

With the experience of Aaron (EMFH) and the new-found determination of Alex (SITU), BMAS started to write their 1st song, Shipwrecked. During the process, Sam Naea (also from SITU) got onboard with writing the lead guitar and became a permanent member of the BMAS family.

After Aaron and Alex left Auckland to move to Putaruru, the song writing started to flow, with all band members living together. Bassist Trey Maaka, long-time friend of Sam Naea, has been around the band almost every day since our starting out, and has only recently left to follow his own path towards Australia. All drum tracks are currently produced by Aaron Naea until we find our permanent drummer.

Bury Me At Sea currently have 4 demos online, all available for download: "Shipwrecked", "Aguien Salveme de este Sueneo", "All Is Fair In Love And War" and our Intro track can be downloaded from SoundCloud.com via Facebook.
