Bio

280z members Dave & Alana formed the band in Nelson during June of 1999 and have since been thoroughly enjoying life as NZ musicians.

Dave and Alana came together like mashed potatoes and peas at a salad bar, while studying Contemporary Music Performance at the wonderful Nelson School of Music.

280z are a soft-rock acoustic due, but are also known to break out into a bit of progressive house now and then. They are influenced by a wide variety of music, from The Cranberries to classic Pink Floyd.
