n-Somnia is a solo project by Jared Rowbotham, formed in 2002, even though his music dates as far back as 1999. His solo career started roughly around the time he left his first band, Supertrip.

He was made known in the online arena through sites like BeSonic.com and MP3.com. It was on BeSonic that he released his first and only #1 hit, "Robot Lover From Mars".

In 2004, n-Somnia was put on hiatus while Jared focused on a side project. But it was in early 2006 when he announced the retirement of n-Somnia, as he chose to continue his work with the new project, Kingrow.

However, the n-Somnia project was revived on a permanent basis in 2011, and his first album, "The Awakening", was released on April 24th.
