Blues/Rock Musician, singer and songwriter Danny Duchamp is a young Auckland blues/rock artist who is a great act with a guitar and a mic, and is also regarded by many as one of the finest blues/rock pianists in the country.

Danny can be seen each Thursday at Florrie Mcgreals Pub - 138 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna, North Shore. But the place will fill to max when this guy is playing so do get there early- and stay late.

Recently returned from Melbourne, Danny also can be seen around the city at the best bars such as The Clare Inn in Dominion Rd - but check his blog for upcoming gigs (http://dannyduchamp.blogspot.co.nz).

Last year Danny performed an amazing duet with international star Jan Preston (Australia's "Queen of Boogie Piano") as the closing act of the Hamilton Garden festival. Reviews in the local press calling it "a unique meeting of a master and a brilliant apprentice."

Danny has a fast growing following as perhaps the best Chicago blues piano player in the country. Until about a year he was the keyboard maestro with the leading blues band, The Jukes. His amazing solos and invention, when combined with the tight “dirty” sound of The Jukes, showed why the group were in such demand and headliners at all the major festivals.

Danny was also a key part of the pub rock band This Way Up. They have been a fixture on the Auckland pub scene in 2008/2009. For This Way Up Danny Duchamp played lead guitar and keyboard.
