Born Mitchell Nikora-Baker in 1988 in Palmerston North and living there until 1997 when he moved to Great barrier Island. After that in 2000 was sent to live back in Palmerston North, towards the end of 2000 travelled the U.K for 5 months, Then came to reside on the east coast of New Zealand in Gisborne
Admired and Favorite Musicans range from Eminem to Linkin Park and DR Dre to Fallout boy a whole lot of Genres have managed to captivate this artist since a very young age.
In 2003 he was in a band formerly known as the AMMM which performed in that years rockquest. After the rockquest the group was approached by Junior Williams who was the the founder of Higher Learning a youth group that has seen many young people travel and perform at all sorts of events around the country.
In Higher Learning he became part of another group called Unique Identity. This group remained together for a couple of years while in this group his A.K.A was Myster X but after toying with his initials MNB to BMN Beam'n was born.
