Since mid 2001, after producing for 6 months I found myself in love with music and since then I have been constantly at the levers developing and evolving as a producer .

My earlier influences were mainly hiphop, dub and drum and bass, although I've always been open to 'good music'

It was in 2004 that oscar 'the producer' became oscar the'grouch' and my ability in production began to soar. When I was asked by cosmic conspiricy records to release a couple of dub tunes, I found a new squishy squelchy taste for the psychedelic and became more involved in the local trance scene. Recently I have completed a number of tracks from psy dub and breaks to techy progressive trance although I dont cage myself to any one genre or sound, I aim keep my mind open and let new ideas flow

I like to get a bit cheeky every now and again, nothing like a bit of a bit of a joke....

Grouch is an ever-changing project growing and mutating with time,

I'm always open to collaborations from those with similar goals, its the love of the music and freaky friends and family around me that influence my music and keep me going.

I just really, really love music...
