At the end ofg the day I don't give a crap if some "wannabe" wnats to impersonate me, The Wingerman. Tehres only one original The Winger.
I only care about hwo the band got on in the Battle Of teh bands. Can anyoen give me an answer please?

Sorry about that dude, we didn't really answer that for ya did we. Truth is we don't really know how we did but we'll keep you posted on any developments. Looks like we scored a gig opening for Jaggedy Ann when they hit the Jetset on the 8th of September with Slipping Tongue. That should be a hell of a night. |

We've been contacted to say that there might have been a mistake (No reflection on the organizers or the judges). The situation is being investigated, so as Skins said we don't really know what is going on at the moment but we will keep you informed.

on a public forum
visited by

This years judging in Christchurch has been very good to say the least, always ' Principals before Personalities ' and that's how it should be ie. I don't like Hip Hop very much but if I were judging and a Hip Hop act presented itself I'm not going to think ***k this I'm putting them last. I'm going to think OK not my cup of tea BUT how well do I think the do Hip Hop in relation to the points of scoring which are 1 to 10 for Professionalism, Originality, Songwriting, Musicianship, Image, Potential, Vocal Ability, Sound Quality (The band, not room or engineer!), Crowd Response, Presentation, & Entertainment Factor.
In answer to Thomas J Cynic - Every band that enters the contest agrees to the terms and conditions. One being that all judges decisions are final. We - INCARNA - abide by this. We insinuate nothing about the contest OR the judges. That's why I've edited.
.... happens - that's why there are wild cards.

Congratulations to Mynor Star and The Deceivers both through to the Christchurch Final of the World Battle of the Bands.
Our thanks to the organizers - Intergalactic Records, those involved in the producing the Christchurch rounds, the supporters who fronted and a very big thank you to Tony the sound guy - incredible job.

You know, I've never noticed this before but has anyone told you that you look a lot like me? How odd. You think it's just one of those things like when guys get old and grow a beard they all end up looking like Kenny Rogers?
