Bio

Veto was formed in 2003 when a group of friends decided they wanted to start a band. Many gigs and many more practices later as well as a few line up changes; Veto has evolved into a very original blend of hard rock, with elements of metal, and an experimental use of calm melodic progressions (glue). With influences ranging from Guns 'n' Roses, Pantera, Smashing Pumpkins, almost any classic rock or metal, through to old school punk and most of what's in-between, their style really is something to be witnessed live.

Having gigged at a wide range of venues across Auckland:
Lincoln Green out West, Masonic Tavern on th shore, White Horse Eastside, and venues including Hysteria, Kings Arms, Schooner Tavern in Central Auckland, Veto is taking their own style of music to the rest of the North Island with a tour later this year.

With a self recorded/produced album already under their belts and currently in the studio working on an EP full of fresh material, Veto is one band to look out for in the near future.
