Cat! Cat! Cat! started out as a sometimes collaboration of friends from then bands Fake Purr and Xanadu, designed to hit and run with once-in-a-while of sharp covers and ground together originals performed by two guitarists (Brenda and Steph) and a drummer (Bruce).
Cat! Cat! Cat! played their first gig in 1999 at the Kings Arms as a surprise and it certainly turned out to be that... the next two took place in 2002. Eight songs learnt in 3 days for these two gigs guaranteed no two gigs would ever be the same!
2003 has proved to be a watershed year with Cat! totally fattened out by the wonderful bass of Shaun (ex-The Aesthetics), and a somewhat more reliable practice regime. Mixing it all together musically, multiple performances in 2003, finally got around to immortalising the live set on wax - well, at least a 7 track CD.
The journey completed with the final ever CD release party in July 2004.
