20sumthin-K

Bio

20sumthin K formed in late 2005. Conceived in a skate park by singer/guitarist (Ihaia) and drummer (John), 20sumthin-K soon added second guitarist (Ed) and a bassist (James) to their line up. Ed and Ihaia began the weekly pilgrimage from Wellsford to Warkworth (a distance around twenty kilometres) to practice in the rumpus room of a small suburban household.

After recording a 4 track demo with House on The Hill Records; 20sumthin-K added a new drummer Paul with the departure of John to the summerless south. With our new friends from HOTH, 20sumthin-K began gigging local pubs and clubs, often teaming up (tagging along) with another local band The Wheelers.

20sumthin-K have gone on to win the HOTH Rock Off, the quest to find the best band on the Hibiscus Coast, came runner-up in the AUT Battle of the Bands and have recorded an EP with Stebbing Recording Centre. Look out for the EP, Puppeteer, due for release in time for Christmas!

Band Members:
Ihaia (guitar, vocals)
Ed (guitar, backing vocals)
James (bass)
Paul (drums)
