Bio

Originally formed to provide music for a local theatre production in early 2006, Scorpio's Coat quickly discovered that they worked well together as a band and began working on their own material.

After gaining second place in the Otago regional finals of the Smokefree Rockquest 2006, Scorpio's Coat set about recording their debut EP, which is available through their website.

The band's original songs are diverse but distinctive, mixing classic rock, prog, blues, jazz and tendencys towards jamming into an interesting and entertaining stew, enhanced by the band members proficiency as instrumentalists.
