Blindspott has a wide range of really cool songs! There music has a good rythem to it and i like it. On 1-10 id give there band a 9. Tell me what you think of them.  |

oh dear. don't fight now. i think that blindspott are pretty good. i miss hearing 'yours truley' on the radio. although, it sucks that the edge edited the song, took all the good bits out. |

I never said they weren't good at what they do, I just said I didn't like what they did based on the fact they don't sound that original. Originality or at least doing something interesting with an existing genre is what appeals to "me" when I listen to music.

Bit of a broad statement don't you think? I'm sure lots of people in NZ had thought about using a DJ in rock music years before this. |

well, yes, i would have thought so too. it wasnt very nice of gray fox to call names. i agree. i like originality too, have you heard of modest mouse? now, that is what i call original. |

Blindspott always put on a superb live performance and never cease 2 amaze me!! I love how they have put some of their ethnicity into their work. That sets them apart from alot of NZ bands. It is even more spectacular the way they have incorperated live dj in their tracks-respect

some of their songs have a good crowd pleaser factor, but watching them in concert can get a bit boring as many of their songs have similar chord progressions and it feels as though its just a good reason to bang your head.  |

Who the hell listens to this ? The singer is very average even monotone and as I was looking around on this site I thought I'd express my disgust in NZ music like this!!!
I suppose its true really that most good music goes by the wayside and guys like these guys get an army of followers because they write super compressed, sustain driven, angst rubbish with some dork making noises on a "Turntable" that go mainly un-heard as far as I'm aware. Limkin Park have got alot to answer for!!!
