The Quick and the Dead formed in late 2005 in Auckland, New Zealand when Will Saunders (guitar, vox) returned from eight years in London, and met Al Walling (bass) and Ben Lockwood (drums).
In late April 2006 the band released an E.P of five songs called 'Destroy the Obstacle'.
They have also played many gigs in Auckland during 2006, as well as live t.v appearances, on air radioplay and live sessions, also releasing their debut video for 'Side one Song one' (see youtube.com).
For 2007 they plan to increase the amount of shows and bring their own particular brand of ‘Maximumheart’n’soulpsychpopmodrock’n’roll’ to the hearts and ears of rock n roll true believers everywhere.
The band have a motto of ‘play anywhere, anytime’ and are available for instore, onair, underground and outtamind gigs, should their services be required.
