Word has spread fast about Rearview Murder, the new kids on the Wellington punk/hardcore block.
Forming just over a year ago, the buzz surrounding their debut show at local Wellington venue Valve saw the place packed to capacity, and quickly earned them a devoted fan base. Their frantic live sets, skilled musicianship and quality tunes have quickly achieved them renown as a capital must-see live act.
Rising from the ashes of Sideway, Josh Devine (bass/backing vocals), Caleb Clayton (drums) and Michael Devine (guitar) decided to set out in a completely new musical direction. A phone call to an old high school friend of Caleb’s who shared like-minded ambitions saw Al Rhoades (vocals) brought into the fold to handle singing duties, and the line up was complete.
At present Rearview Murder are working on an 8 track EP which is in the final stages of completion, and is set for a self release before the end of 2005....stay tuned
