Laidrive is a four-piece rock band hailing mainly from eastern Auckland.
2005 saw the band develop their funky ass sound into a fast, contagious genre that only bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers could claim a belonging to. It also saw them piss many people off due to their unconventional and childish humor.
This year however is no different, they are still immature, and they are still producing some of the best new rock/funk/punk/?/? tunes in the NZ music scene.
Led by energetic front-man Mike (Bartboy) Bartlet; Antonio (Tony Bass) Spika on funky slapp bass, the smooth sounds of lead guitar provided by Pavel (Pebble) Diatchenko and Alastair (Colin Kapow) Comrie cranking the beats, they put on an uplifting and entertaining show.
Band Members:
Pavel Diatchenko (guitar)
Antonio Spika (bass)
Alastair Comrie (drums)
Michael Bartlett (vocals)
